I am tired, I am exhausted
All I do each day is cover a massive to do list:
- grade 80 now only 60 essays
- email a mom whose child has decided to prove to all how smart she is by failing all her classes
- consider an alternative education plan for said student
- organize my desk
- make reading packets for next year
- distribute packets
- firm up class list for next year
- grade final exams in 2 days
- complete term and year grades
- collect books
- and that is only what I remember by this late hour
And after a year of this constant task list, my other missions and daily responsibilities are just going to have to wait the 9 days until my teacher self can rest and my real self can emerge and devote myself to all that makes my world:
- dishes
- clean out fridge and pantry
- bathe dog
- vet appoint and new meds for the creatures
- rug cleaning
- old clothes removal
- vacuuming
- laundry
- meditation
- yoga
- cardio
- fitness
- dental appoint
- empty off that table
- finish decor
- fresh produce
- see friends
- catch up on my own self
Oh I forgot(now it is the next day), as well:
- clean out the molding rice from the rice cooker
- figure out that weird smell in the freezer
- water the plants, figure out how to repot that odd one
- put the new basket on the bike
- make a contraption to store all my glass bottles
- make those future youtube sensation videos
- use those groupons
- submit records to HR
- pay the total years bill for my insurance
- finally use the car wash gift card to get my car detailed
HEY I NEVER PROMISED THIS BLOG WOULD ALWAYS BEEN POINTS OF INTRIGUE, LIFE ITSELF TAKES UP PLENTY OF TIME AND SPACE
once the floodgates open:
- renew pasport
- makes appointment with the dentist
- tickets for that concert next week
